What is the HOPE Trust Account Program?

The HOPE Trust Account Program, administered through the California State Treasurer's Office, gives money to eligible California foster youth and young people who lost a parent or guardian to COVID-19. The HOPE Program gives youth a financial foundation to break cycles of poverty and close the racial wealth gap. For more information and how to apply, take a look at the HOPE Trust Account website.

Who is MyPath?

MyPath is a nonprofit organization that partners with youth to design programs that ensure young people have the knowledge, tools and confidence they need to make their path to wealth-building. We also support young people to advocate for better financial and economic opportunities through projects like our Youth Economic Bill of RYTS (Real Youth Troubles & Solutions). [link] We believe in young people’s leadership and potential and we know youth have what it takes to make decisions that are right for them. We build resources and train financial mentors to help provide information and guidance for youth as they make their path.
